Urban Environments
These two Co-op roof-decking projects used different means to create distinctive
usable spaces. While both decks were laid with removable 4'x4' modular pallets,
one project used clear cedar decking, structures and furnishings, with tall
evergreen groupings to provide a weathered and less urban look and feel. The
other used farm-raised mahogany decking with its warm tone, and Japanese inspired
plant-rock groupings to emphasize a connection with nature amidst a teeming
city.
