This bleak space on the Upper West Side of Manhattan was transformed into a
lush and fragrant formal Garden. Plantings of evergreens, flowering trees and
shrubs along with fragrant vines and perennials, turn a bare narrow terrace
into an oasis in the sky, while forming beautiful and functional outdoor rooms.
