al Fresco
The Board of this Upper West Side Co-op Building wanted to take advantage of
their vast rooftop exterior. With an eye to multi-use functionality we created
individual "private" spaces by using garden structures such as columned arbors
and trellised walls. Plantings were chosen both to enhance the overall design,
as well as for their hardiness and ease of maintenance. A more "public" lounging
area was also created for tanning or relaxation.
